Collaboration: Unlocking Scope 3 Reductions

During 2025, we gathered together a dozen customers to look at what we can collectively do to reduce Scope 3 Emissions.

Most organisations have been able to at least recognise how to reduce emissions from their buildings and vehicles (broadly, Scopes 1 & 2), but struggle with the emissions from their customers and suppliers, because they are indirect and therefore not easily influenced.

And those responsible for sustainability often take on the load of Net Zero with little resources - time, people and budget.

By bringing different experiences together, we can harness group knowledge and devise solutions to tricky emissions reductions. The collective knowledge around the table from these organisations, representing over 4000 employees and >200,000 tonnes of annual emissions allowed us to explore:

1) How we can put together programmes to work with suppliers
2) Who can support us internally to drive change
3) What we can do to help each other as a virtual network

We’ll be continuing to offer free access to an initial workshop for customers and non-customers alike, and then offering additional, deeper dives into specific challenges of Scope 3 like:

  • How to build business cases that your colleagues will support or fund

  • Sustainable Procurement- how to pull the biggest lever in carbon reduction

  • Moving your staff and customers in a more environmentally-friendly way
